We provide both white rock salt and brown rock salt, and while both are superb gritting solutions, they can be used for different purposes. Brown rock salt is often used on car parks and roads, the type you’ll often see on those cold winter mornings. White rock salt is used more as an aesthetic choice, its colour leaving fewer residues on residential areas such as steps and driveways.
Rock salt makes surfaces more secure by bringing down the freezing temperature of water so ice only forms at lower temperatures. You can rest safe in the knowledge that our rock salt supplies are effective in temperatures that can be as low as -7°C.
We supply both white rock salt and brown rock salt in four different options with tonne bags, and 10 and 20 x 25kg bags available. You can also buy larger quantities should you require – and it’s all available with free delivery. (Please note that the minimum amount you can purchase is 10 x 25kgbags.)
