Delivery help and information

The majority of our products are delivered by our own fleet of vehicles; fitted with mechanical cranes (Hiab).

Our normal delivery hours run between:

Monday-Friday: 9.00am till 5pm
Saturday: 8.30am till 1pm
Sundays or Bank Holidays: No Deliveries

Next Day delivery: Monday PM through to Saturday AM only

*an additional charge of £10.00 for Saturday deliveries.

It is important that you have sufficient access to accommodate our delivery vehicles. Before placing your order it is key that as the customer you understand and take full responsibility of this important delivery information. Greenvale will always endeavor to satisfy your delivery requests, however, by agreeing to our terms and conditions it is the customers responsibility to ensure that circumstances and conditions are correct for the safe and efficient unloading of the vehicles. Vehicles will leave the hard road standing at customers request and the discretion of the driver only.

We do not accept any responsibility for any damage that may arise on delivery.

All deliveries of bulk bags and 25kg pre-pack are delivered on pallets by a lorry with tail lift off load; we DO NOT use Cranes or HIAB's.

It is IMPORTANT that you have sufficient access to accommodate the delivery vehicles and the maneuvering of pallets. The area for delivery must be level and solid ground, (tarmac, paving, concrete) the pump trollies are handled manually so cannot be taken up/down curves or positioned on loose ground.

Before placing your order it is key that as the customer you understand and take full responsibility of this important delivery information. Greenvale Products will always endeavor to satisfy your delivery requests however by agreeing to our terms and conditions it is the customers responsibility to ensure that circumstances and conditions are correct for the safe completion of delivery.

It is at the delivery driver’s discretion whether or not these circumstances and conditions are deemed to be safe and suitable for the delivery to be completed. We do not accept any liability for the consequences resulting from the positioning of pallets or bulk bags by the delivery driver.

These vehicles need a firm level surface to unload on and you must ensure that the delivery vehicle will have safe access to the unloading point. Deliveries are kerb-side and where possible the driver will try and leave your delivery where requested. The lorries use small pump action trolleys to maneuver the pallet around therefore it is key that the surface is level, these trollies are designed to be used on concrete, tarmac or block paved areas they are unable to be used on gravel, soil, earth, uneven or loose ground. Please be aware that our lorries cannot deliver onto any form of slope, hill or incline.

Our pallets and bulk bags are non-returnable and we would like to encourage the recycling of all such products.

Greenvale is keen to meet its customer’s individual delivery requests and we will always do our upmost to satisfy these demands. We are happy to deliver without the customer or representative present however we can accept no liability for any damage, theft or deterioration to the items delivered.

The Company will not accept liability for non-delivery, where this is caused by circumstances beyond its control. If the delivery is unable to be completed or refused by the customer, the customer will be responsible for the delivery cost and any cost incurred by ourselves to have the goods returned.

Greenvale Products have an excellent supply of grit sand available for you! Another name used for Grit sand is Sharp sand. Grit sand is a heavier sand than normal sand and is a very versatile sand used for many different tasks and jobs. To calculate how much grit sand you need for your outdoor area use our 'area calculator' to help you get the right amount! ! Or call one of our trained sales team who will be happy to answer all your questions. Consists of: Grit sand has low clay content of only 3%. As you may know, sand is composed of grains of rock, where Grit sand differs, is that a large proportion of Grit sand is larger grain sizes than other types of sand, making it a heavier type of sand than others. Ideal For: Perfect for water logged areas or finely brushing beneath flag stones when flag laying. It is also ideal for building and it is one of the building sands that building companies use, mainly as bedding material for paving. Grit sand is also excellent for a semi-dry mix with cement which can then be used for many things such as fencing posts and edging stones for block paving. Grit sand is also ideal in smaller quantities for adding to potting composts where you have plants that need a bit more drainage than others. Grit sand is also added to cement and stone to then create concrete. Grit sand, mixed with salt, is also perfectly used in cold icy weather on the ground as a hazard prevention to prevent cars skidding.
