These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. These terms and conditions may be changed at any time and will be posted online. The essence of the contract between Greenvale Products Ltd and The Customer are to supply and deliver a product.
Please be aware pictures of products may vary at any time, all our products are natural products therefore may differ in colour and size. Colours and Sizes of products are approximattions only.
Large Bulk Bags contain approx 1000kg or 750ltrs. Large Bags contains approx 20/25kg or 40/60ltrs. Loose Bulk loads 6 wheeler 15 tonnes approx & 8 Wheeler 20 tonnes.
Ruby/Emerald Turf are perishable products and must be laid on prepared turfing soil, once delivered turf must be laid as soon as possible and watered adequately to obtain great results.
You are deemed to have placed an order with us by giving an instruction to supply goods or services online, via email or verbally by telephone.
During you ordering online you will be given the opportunity to confirm your order and to correct any errors prior to confirming the order, you are also given the option to specify a "preffered" delivery day and enter delivery instructions. Greenvale Products as a company will try their upmost to supply on such days and to specified areas however if we are unable to deliver on that day you will be notified in advance.
The order is only accepted by upon dispatch of the ordered goods confirmation e-mail even if your payment has been processed immediately.
We will notify you by phone or e-mail if we cannot accept your order or if you cancel the order prior to dispatch.
We may refuse to accept an order:
a) Where goods are not available
b) Where we cannot obtain authorization for your payment
c) If there has been a pricing or description errors.
All prices stated include VAT at the applicable rate. Prices may be altered at any time without prior notice. Should an incorrect price be displayed, Greenvale Products reserves the right to refuse orders.
Deliveries are made within 2-4 working days. Next Day Delivery is available for an extra £10, must be received by 2pm the previous day and orders received after 2pm will be made the day after the next day.
Delivery is deemed to have taken place once the products have arrived at the address provided. Signatures are not necessarily required as proof of delivery. Products may be left at the recipients address without a signature except where the customer has specified. Once delivered, responsibility including loss or damage to the product rests with the purchaser.
In the case of a delivery being refused, re-directed or aborted, we reserve the right to pass on costs for re-delivery, or returning the product to our yard.
Delivery shall be conditional upon access free from encumbrances and good roads being available for place of delivery. The Company accept no liability for damages to property caused during delivery.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that no obstruction occurs to either the Highway or public footpaths. Also overhead. A number of our delivery vehicles do have an Hyab/Crane fitted therefore delivery point must be low-hanging trees/branches and over head cables. Any driver employed by Greenvale has the right to refuse delivery if they think they are unable to access. Where possible delivery will be made onto the customers property, i.e. driveway or similar. The customer agrees that the area to accept the delivery provides a safe, level hard standing free from access restrictions and capable of withstanding the weight of product and the vehicle.
Delivery Instructions locations where driveways have been recently laid in blacktop, resin bonded systems or imprint concrete must be received within 24 hours of an order being placed. Suppliers recommendations should be followed with regard to the imposition of loads in the early life of these surfaces. The Company accepts no liability for damages to these surfaces caused during the delivery. If a preffered delivery day is specified every effort is made to ensure products are delivered on that date, but if for any reason delivery is not achieved or cannot be carried out on this day then no liability is accepted whether in damages or otherwise for delay of whole or any part of the goods ordered arising from any cause whatsoever.
We recommend inspecting Loose loads, Tonne bags and contents of pallets before accepting any delivery, should there be any complaints, shortages or damages, these must be notified at the time of delivery to the office either by email or telephone.
Bulk loose loads can be carried out in vehicles weighing upto 32 tonnes therefore it is upto the customer to ensure safe delivery points for products to be tipped off.
CANCELLATION AND RETURNS POLICY
If you wish to cancel your order please e-mail your details and order reference to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01282 839704.
Any order cancellation must be made prior to product dispatch.
Customers may cancel or return their order within 14 days for an exchange or refund, however, please be aware that the return or rejection of products which we have correctly supplied is costly. When in doubt about colour and form of a product please ask for samples prior to placing an order.
a)Turf is non-returnable product and must be laid within 24 hours of delivery, please see turf aftercare and maintenance on our turf page.
a) Items that are special order cannot be returned.
b) Any order cancellation must be made prior to product despatch.
c) Once despatched, the return cost of the product is at the customers expense
(unless faulty, or the wrong product is delivered in which case we will exchange the product as soon as possible).
We can arrange for collection and you will be advised of the costs in advance.
d) Delivery is non-refundable. Where a product is to be returned delivery is charged at £80.00 inc VAT per bulk bag.
e) Collection on products wishing to be returned is charged at £80 per bulk bag/pallet.
f) Responsibility for the goods remains that of the customer until collected by Greenvale Products.
Upon receipt of the goods the company will issue a refund within 7 days via the original payment method of the amount paid minus the above charges. This is subject to the goods and packaging being in 'as new' condition with a copy of the valid receipt/delivery note.
