Terms and Conditions
Greenvale Products Limited (company registration 7440369) ("Greenvale Products", "Greenvale", "The Company", "we", "us" or "our").
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer and may be changed at any time. The essence of the contract between The Company and The Customer is the supply and delivery of a product.
Please be aware that pictures of products are approximations only, as our products are natural and therefore may differ in colour and size depending on various factors. If it is important that the product matches existing material then please request a sample before placing your order.
Large bulk bags contain approx. 1000kg or 750ltrs of material. Large bags contains approx. 20/25kg or 40/60ltrs. Loose bulk loads will be supplied using a six wheel vehicle (approx. 15 tonnes) or an eight wheel vehicle (approx. 20 tonnes).
You are deemed to have placed an order with us by giving an instruction to supply goods or services online, via email or verbally by telephone.
During the ordering process online you will be given the opportunity to confirm your order and to correct any errors prior to confirming the order. You are also given the option to specify a preferred delivery day and enter delivery instructions. The Company will try their utmost to supply goods on the dates specified, however if we are unable to deliver on that day you will be notified in advance.
The order is only accepted upon dispatch of confirmation email, even if payment has been processed immediately.
If you cancel the order prior to dispatch you will receive confirmation. We will notify you by telephone or email if we cannot accept your order.
We may refuse to accept an order:
- where goods are not available;
- where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment; or
- if there has been a pricing or description error.
All prices stated include VAT at the applicable rate. Prices may be altered at any time without prior notice. Should an incorrect price be displayed, The Company reserves the right to refuse an order.
Deliveries are made within 3-5 working days. Next day delivery must be received by 2pm the previous day, with deliveries for orders received after 2pm made the day after the next day.
Delivery is deemed to have taken place once the goods have arrived at the address supplied by The Customer. Signatures are not necessarily required as proof of delivery and products may be left at the recipients address without a signature except where The Customer has specified otherwise. Once delivered, responsibility for the product - including loss or damage - rests with The Customer.
In the case of a delivery being refused, redirected or aborted, we reserve the right to pass on costs relating to redelivery, or return the product to our yard.
Delivery shall be conditional upon access free from encumbrances and a sufficiently stable road surface being available at the place of delivery. The Company accepts no liability for damages to property caused during delivery.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that delivery does not cause obstruction to either the highway or public footpaths. A number of our delivery vehicles have HIAB mechanical cranes fitted, therefore the place of delivery must be free from low-hanging tree branches and overhead cables etc. Any driver employed by The Company has the right to refuse delivery if they believe access is not sufficient or delivery cannot be completed safely. Where possible delivery will be made onto The Customer's property, i.e. driveway or similar. The Customer agrees that the delivery area provides a safe, level hard standing, free from access restrictions and capable of withstanding the weight of the product and the delivery vehicle.
Delivery instructions regarding locations where driveways have been recently laid using blacktop, resin bonded systems or imprint concrete must be received within 24 hours of an order being placed. Suppliers' recommendations must be followed with regard to the imposition of loads during the early life of these surfaces. The Company accepts no liability for damages to these surfaces caused during the delivery.
If a preferred delivery day is specified, every effort is made to ensure products are delivered on that date, but if for any reason delivery is not achieved or cannot be carried out on this day, then no liability is accepted whether in damages or otherwise for the delay of the whole or any part of the order, irrespective of cause.
We recommend inspecting loose loads, bulk bags and contents of pallets before accepting delivery. Should there be any complaints regarding shortages or damages, we must be notified immediately at the time of delivery, by email or telephone.
Delivery of bulk loose loads can be carried out using vehicles weighing up to 32 tonnes, therefore it is The Customer's responsibility to ensure a safe delivery location where products can be tipped.
Cancellation and returns policy

Cancellation of any order must be made prior to product dispatch.
Customers may cancel or return their order within 14 days for an exchange or refund. However, please be aware that the return or rejection of products which we have correctly supplied is costly. When in doubt about the colour and/or form of a product, please request samples prior to placing an order.
Upon receipt of the goods The Company will issue a refund within seven days via the original payment method, amounting to the sum paid minus the costs associated with returning the goods. This is subject to the goods and packaging being in 'as new' condition, with a copy of the valid receipt/delivery note supplied.
- Items that are special order cannot be returned.
- Any order cancellation must be made prior to product despatch.
- Once despatched, the return cost of the product is at The Customer's expense - we can arrange for collection and you will be advised of the costs in advance (unless faulty or the wrong product is delivered, in which case we will exchange the product as soon as possible).
- Delivery is non-refundable. Where a product is to be returned, delivery is charged at £80.00 inc. VAT per bulk bag/pallet.
- Responsibility for the goods remains that of The Customer until collected by The Company.
