Use our red granite gravel to make a bold statement and brighten your outdoor spaces. A naturally quarried material, 20mm red gravel has consistent, deep red colouration that’s the result of high feldspar and iron oxide content, which darkens to a rich, dynamic shine when wet. This finish compliments brick-built, traditional and contemporary properties, and provides a stunning contrast to green lawns and planted borders. It’s also an angular stone that interlocks more neatly than our rounded aggregates, ensuring stability as a walking and driving surface.
Red granite is an extremely hard-wearing, durable product due to its mineral composition and high quartz, feldspar and mica content. More resistant to weathering and less likely to chip or break apart under mechanical stress, red granite gravel in 20mm is a long-lasting product that generates less dust than softer aggregates such as limestone. This makes it ideal for use on driveways and higher traffic areas, where its toughness comes into its own, ensuring that even heavier vehicles can be parked without compromising the integrity of the aggregate. 20mm red gravel also ranges from pH neutral to very slightly acidic, which makes it safe to used as a topping material without risking the health of your plants. While our products always arrive on site dusty due to the bagging process, once this dust and any other contaminants are washed away red granite gravel is safe for aquatic life and can be placed in and around ponds or other water features.
Red granite gravel 20mm is a natural product that is a deep red when dry, darkens further when wet and may vary in colour and size. Our tonne bags consist of stones ranging from 10mm to 20mm in size.

Loving the colour but make sure you measure properly because we were a bag short and there’s a minimum order so we had to convince them deliver a third bag later. Sorted in the end 🙂
